One space available I would love to share with you some of the wonderful aspects to my program that makes it steps above the rest. I provide a quality educational program that is geared toward each child’s unique learning style. We strongly focus on academic success, early reading and the arts . I provide lesson plans, daily activities, documentation boards, Spanish enrichment and a music and movement program. In addition I prepare 2 hot, nutritious, meals and 2 snacks daily (fruits and vegetables). We currently have a garden where the children have planted beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, and pumpkins that they will enjoy very soon. I recognize that to the children I nurture I am a home away from home for them, because of that responsibility I maintain a supreme level of professionalism and respect when dealing with the families I provide care for. It is very important to me to keep the lines of communication open between myself and my clients that is why through email, text messaging and phone calls I inform my clients of the day to day activities and educational milestones the children achieve daily.
I have excellent references and my background has been a lead teacher in the implementation of effective Toddler Curriculums. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology "Suma Cum laude", I am CPR and First Aide Certified and I have accumulated over 100 training hours In early Childhood education and health and safety. I was chosen out of hundreds of applicants to receive a quality improvement grant from Quality care for Children a childcare resource and referral agency in the State of Georgia. I can vouch for A'lia's in-home childcare program. She was a quite a lifesaver last summer when we needed a little bit of additional help with childcare coverage due to our conflicting work schedules. Our daughter absolutely loved going to A'lia's home. She has a two story home and the entire upstairs is dedicated to the children. This includes a huge play room, restroom, diaper changing room and a mini kitchen/eating/craft area. Every morning when we would walk in, my daughter and I both looked forward to hearing what type of music would be playing and she would dive right into one of her huge boxes of building blocks or the child sized kitchen. A'lia has pretty much taken care of the SAME group of 2-3 year olds for the last 2 years... and that says A LOT! The fact that she even has an opening is actually quite amazing. She provided EXCELLENT care for our daughter!
She also lives next door to us. We visit regularly when she has the gang outside playing on her perfect little play structure in her back yard. She is terrific!
