Holly Wilhelm – President

Holly joined the board as Playgroup Chair in December of 2014 and is in her second year as president of this wonderful group. She and her husband Jeremy moved from Midtown to Grant Park in 2009. They now have two sons, James and Eliot (ages 6 and 4). They discovered the parents network early on when Holly and James joined the Alligators playgroup, and have found themselves getting more involved every year. Holly worked for nine years as an aptitude consultant until she chose to stay home with her family in 2014. She now has more time to enjoy cooking, sewing, exploring different neighborhoods with the boys, and of course, making connections in the Parents Network.

Hometown: Jamestown, NY

Favorite book to read to your children: Pretty much anything by Mo Willems

Favorite GPPN event: Summer Social - pure fun for all!

Amaris Landis – Vice President

Amaris and her husband, Justin are high school sweethearts who joined the Grant Park community in 2004. Barkley the dog joined the family in 2009 and was the king of the castle until their daughter, Maggie was born in 2013. Amaris graduated from Rice University where she ran track and obtained a degree in Psychology. She started her career in Recruiting at Bain & Company and has since worked in Human Resources for 10 years with The Home Depot and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Amaris decided to stay home to chase little Maggie and work with Justin's real estate business in 2014. She loves cooking and eating great food, going to the park and the zoo, and spending time in Blue Ridge.

Hometown: Ripley, West Virginia

Favorite book to read to your child: Amelia Bedelia Chapter Book Series

Favorite GPPN event: Halloween Parade - love the combo of the parade for kiddos and music and fun afterwards!

Torrie Souther – Secretary

Torrie has been an active member of GPPN since her son Asa was born in 2015. She began her involvement as the coordinator for the playgroup with the quirkiest name, the Naked Mole Rats. This is her second year serving on the board as Secretary. She and her high school sweetheart, Dan, moved to Grant Park in 2008 as young newlyweds and fell head-over-heels in love with the neighborhood. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Torrie worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the healthcare setting. She enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, crafting, bargain hunting, and spending quality time with friends/family.

One thing that's on your bucket list: Checking out the World's Longest Yard Sale!

What you wanted to be when you grew up: Miss Texas

Favorite GPPN event: Music in the Meadow - I love hanging out in our lovely park while listening to great music with friends and family.

Brian Keida – Treasurer

Brian and his wife Colleen moved to Grant Park in 2011. They now have two daughters, Maeve and Scarlett (ages 4 and 1). Brian is from Syracuse, NY and went to Marist College. He followed Colleen down to Atlanta over 8 years ago and went to Georgia State for his Master's in Taxation. After over 11 years working for PwC, Brian recently joined Crowe Horwath as a tax senior manager, specializing in real estate. Brian enjoys hanging out with his family around Grant Park, sports, and any social gathering.

What you wanted to be when you grew up: NBA player

Favorite rainy day activity with your children: Cooking

Favorite GPPN event: Halloween Parade - I like seeing all of the kids get dressed up and parents too.

Kristen Silton – Playgroup Chair

Kristen is originally from Nashville, TN and has lived in Ormewood Park for three years along with her husband, Jordan, kids, Benji (3) and Evie Ruth (1), and dog, Lola. Kristen attended Emory University and holds degrees in Theater Studies and Mathematics. She is the Development Director at Actor's Express. When not working or child-wrangling, Kristen enjoys exploring the neighborhood, trying new restaurants, and taking advantage of Atlanta's vibrant arts and culture scene.

Amy Klenc – Community Outreach Chair

Amy is excited about her new role as Community Outreach Chair after joining the GPPN board as an At-Large member in 2016. She and her husband Jeff moved to Ormewood Park in 2012. Then in November 2013 they welcomed their first son, Henry, into the family and have been active members of the playgroup Budgies ever since. Amy had their second son, Walter, in November 2015 and is enjoying being a family of four. Amy holds a degree with emphasis in Math Education and minors in Child and Family Development and Business from Georgia Southern University. Since the boys have joined her family she has enjoyed staying at home and becoming more involved in the community.

Sabrina Sexton – Marketing Chair

Sabrina is incredibly excited to join the board as Marketing Chair. She and her husband Rocky first became involved with GPPN after the birth of their son Benjamin in 2015. As first-time parents, they found the opportunity to connect with other neighborhood parents and babies Benjamin's age in the Naked Mole Rats playgroup invaluable. They moved to Grant Park in 2015 and spend a lot of time enjoying the neighborhood's parks, the zoo, and farmers market season. Sabrina is a career digital marketer and leads digital marketing for a division of Stanley Black & Decker. She loves traveling, and her hobbies include photography, baking, and letterpress printing.

Hometown: The world! I moved a lot as an Army brat but consider Atlanta home now.

What you wanted to be when you grew up: An actor

Favorite GPPN event: Halloween Parade - the combination of music, community, and costumes is so much fun!

Darcy Millard – At-Large Member

Darcy and her husband, Daniel, moved to the Grant Park area (Boulevard Heights) in 2013 and hope to never leave the neighborhood! They welcomed their first son, Theo, on Valentine's Day 2014 and then their identical twin boys, Ben and Charlie, in June 2015. Darcy has worked at the American Cancer Society for the past eight years and currently manages the tumor tissue repository for their epidemiology research program. In her free time, what little is left after chasing her boys through the city on one of their weekend adventures, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and naps. She is excited to join the 2017 GPPN board as an At-Large member.

Favorite game or hobby when you were growing up: Rollerblading through the neighborhood with my sisters and friends

Favorite thing to do in Atlanta: Explore! There are so many great things to do in the city and even after living here for 8.5 years, we know there is still so much that we haven't gotten to.

Favorite GPPN event: Movie night! In 2015, with Finding Nemo, it was the first movie our oldest ever got to see and it was also the first one on one time away from the house that he and I got to have after his baby brothers were born. It was such a fun and memorable night!

Kristi Malloy – At-Large Member

Kristi and her husband, Jason, moved to Grant Park in 2012 after falling madly in love with the neighborhood when looking to buy a home. Kristi first discovered the Parents Network by joining the Naked Mole Rats playgroup following the birth of her son (Ethan, age 1) and is thrilled to further her involvement with GPPN and the community by joining the Board. When not toddler-wrangling or working at SunTrust, Kristi enjoys being active, exploring Atlanta, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Hometown: Augusta, GA

Secret talent: Piano and guitar. I can also do a pretty mean worm.

Favorite GPPN event: I absolutely love Music in the Meadow. It's so nice to meet friends and neighbors in the park for dinner, drinks, music and community! Plus, my son really loves to dance.

Lexi Nguyen – At-Large Member

Lexi and her husband Dean have lived in Grant Park for 8 years. Lexi, an Atlanta native, has an undergraduate degree in English Education and a Master’s in School Counseling. She has worked as a teacher, education policy researcher, and middle/high school counselor. Lexi and Dean welcomed their son Sebastian in 2014 (Lemur) and then twin boys in May 2016 (Llamas). In her free time, Lexi enjoys cooking, reading, running (slowly), and visiting new restaurants with her husband. Lexi has loved making friends and finding support with the Grant Park Parents Network.
